A modest English cottage is doubled into a spacious modern craftsman, remaining modest, as the entire addition is invisible from the street. Inspired by a nearby tree-house, the clean lines of the design’s natural warm woods form a finely crafted rich and buoyant interior environment. The addition portion of this project provides access to a previously unusable portion of the client’s severely sloping hillside lot.
